Kenny Maurais is a bassist born and raised in Danvers, Massachusetts. He studied music with Gary Burton, Victor Bailey, Hal Crook, and Mr. Doug Cloyd. Kenny has played and/or recorded with Mission Creep, Debris, John Scofield, Grady Tate, Umphrey's McGee guitarist Jake Cinninger and saxophonist Jeff Coffin, and many other terrific artists. He has also had the pleasure of touring the world with Rita Moreno, Argentine sax legend Carlos Nostro, and Ben Vereen. He's performed at the Grand Ole Opry, Times Square, Carnaval in Rio, and made numerous television appearances. Kenny also enjoys his day job as bass player and leader of the U.S Air Force band the Blue Aces.
